About ERIC ATTIAS

Growing up by the sea, I had the privilege to dive, surf and sail on a daily basis, which made me fascinated by the complexity of ocean processes. That interest naturally led me to pursue a career path that evolved from professional sea related occupations such as diving & sailing instructor, hydrographic surveyor, dredging master, and ROV pilot; to academic interests - from oceanography to marine electromagnetic geophysics. In my free time, I enjoy yacht race sailing, kitesurfing, free diving, playing the bass and writing music.
